McKonly & Asbury named Best Place to Work in PA

HARRISBURG, PA - McKonly & Asbury, LLP has been named one of the Best Places to Work in PA for 2011!  This great achievement comes as the seventh time in nine years that McKonly & Asbury has made this challenging list.  The honor, judged and bestowed by the Best Companies Group, requires innovative approaches to managing the workplace.

With over 75% of the scoring for this increasingly competitive award coming from direct survey of all employees, companies who achieve this honor must hold their employees as their most important asset.  McKonly & Asbury has participated in the awards program since 2003. “We are proud of our organization and our team,” said Terry Harris, Managing Partner. “Having an environment that incorporates fun and celebration into a work environment is a win for everyone!”

This award program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce, and its businesses. The Best Places to Work in PA list is made up of 100 companies split into two groups: 50 medium sized companies (25-249 employees in PA) and 50 large sized companies (more than 250 employees in PA).  McKonly & Asbury has been named a Best Place to Work in PA in the medium sized category.

The Best Places to Work in PA program was created in 2000 and it was the first of its kind offered by a state.
