McKonly & Asbury Announces Promotions

HARRISBURG, PA – McKonly & Asbury, LLP is pleased to announce the mid-year promotions of our team members, effective July 1st. Four team members were promoted.

Danielle Guinter, CPA, MAcc – Manager
Danielle joined McKonly & Asbury as a Staff Accountant in 2005, was promoted to Supervisor in 2008, and Manager in July 2011. She focuses on providing client services as part of our audit team. Ms. Guinter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University and a Masters of Accountancy from Rider University.

Sarah Polcovich, CPA – Supervisor
Sarah joined McKonly & Asbury in 2007 as a Staff Accountant, was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2009, and Supervisor in July 2011. Sarah serves clients in a variety of industries, performing financial and 401(k) audits. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Insurance Department Financial Examination Support team, as well as a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Sarah has a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Information Systems from Susquehanna University.

Jamie Malachowski – Senior Accountant
Jamie first joined McKonly & Asbury as an Extern in 2007 and then as an Intern in 2008. In September 2009, she joined McKonly & Asbury as a Staff Accountant and was promoted to Senior Accountant in July 2011. She is a member of the firm’s audit practice and specializes in for profit, real estate, and employee benefit plan audits. She also contributes to McKonly & Asbury as a member of the Junior Leadership Group, Pep Squad, Audit & Assurance Teambuilding Subcommittee, and as an Audit mentor to externs and interns. Within the community, she is a member of the Harrisburg Young Professionals and is an accounting affiliate of the PICPA. Jamie graduated in 2009, with honors, from Susquehanna University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting as well as a special concentration in Business Administration: Human Resource Management.

Josh Deitch – Senior Accountant
Josh joined McKonly & Asbury in 2008 as a Staff Accountant and was promoted to Senior Accountant in July 2011. He works primarily with the firm’s audit and consulting clients performing both internal and external audits for a variety of clients, as well as IT SAS 70s. Josh also assists in maintaining company communication channels, including company blogs and intranet. He is a member of ISACA and the AICPA and is also Chairman of the M&A Independence Committee. Josh is a graduate of Harding University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
