CAMP HILL -McKonly & Asbury is pleased to announce the promotions of several of our other team members. Effective January 1,the following promotions have been made.
Elizabeth Brooks and Elaine Hardin are promoted to Senior Manager. Sam Bower, Chrissy Springer, and Lea Taylor are promoted to Manager. Lindsay Young is promoted to Supervisor. Christina Burt, Ryan Glenn, Danielle Hulock, Kris Leber, and Lauren Uhrich are promoted to Senior Accountant.
Elizabeth A. Brooks, CPA and Elaine Hardin, MBA, PMP, CISA are promoted to Senior Manager.
Elizabeth began her career with McKonly & Asbury as a staff accountant, after graduating from Elizabethtown College with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. She specializes in service to associations, nonprofits, and real estate and housing clients.
Elaine joined McKonly & Asbury's consulting team in 2005 as a Consulting Manager. She provides information systems consulting services to our clients in areas such as internal controls review, internal audit, information systems testing, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Penn State University and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland . She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Samuel B. Bower, MIS, CISA, Christina M. Springer, CPA, and Lea A. Taylor, CPA are promoted to Manager.
Sam joined McKonly & Asbury in 2004 as a Consulting Supervisor. He provides information systems consulting services to our clients in areas such as information systems best practices, internal controls review and testing, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and forensic accounting. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh , as well as Master's degree in Information Systems (MIS) from Penn State . He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Chrissy joined McKonly & Asbury in 2002. She specializes in providing consulting services to clients in a variety of industries including insurance and long-term care. Chrissy is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Accounting.
Lea began her career with McKonly & Asbury as a staff accountant following her graduation from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with concentrations in Accounting and Marketing. A Certified Public Accountant, she leads the audit team for the firm's largest client in the Real Estate and Affordable Housing industry.
Lindsay M. Young is promoted to Supervisor.
Lindsay began her career with McKonly & Asbury in 2003, following her graduation from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She provides audit, tax and consulting services, with an emphasis on Sarbanes-Oxley Services to a variety of clients.
Christina A. Burt, Ryan E. Glenn, Danielle L. Hulock, Kris C. Leber, CPP and Lauren N. Uhrich are promoted to Senior Accountant.
Christina joined McKonly & Asbury in 2005 as a consultant. She serves clients in a variety of industries, focusing mainly on consulting and audit work including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Christina is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a BS Degree in Operations Management and a minor in Management Information Systems.
Ryan began his career with McKonly & Asbury, before a brief stint with a family-owned medical supply business, where he served as controller. He rejoined McKonly & Asbury in 2005. He provides accounting and consulting services to the firm's clients in a variety of industries. Ryan has passed the CPA examination and is working toward licensure with the State of Pennsylvania . He is a graduate of Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
Danielle joined the firm as a Staff Accountant after graduating from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Danielle has focused on service with our consulting team, specializing in documentation related to Sarbanes-Oxley Act Compliance and Testing. She has passed the CPA examination and is awaiting licensure pending review of her required experience.
Kris joined McKonly & Asbury in 2005 as a Staff Accountant. She serves clients in a variety of industries, focusing mainly on consulting and audit work including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. She is also a Certified Payroll Professional. Kris is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with a BS Degree in Accounting.
Lauren joined the firm as a Staff Accountant in 2004. She provides audit, tax and consulting services, with an emphasis on Sarbanes-Oxley Services. She has passed the CPA examination and is compiling the required audit hours for licensure. She is based in the firm's Lancaster office. Lauren is a Messiah College graduate, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
