Scholarship Fund for Future Public Accounting Leaders

We’re excited to see students pursue careers in public accounting and bring their fresh perspectives and talents to our field. In 2023, we established the McKonly & Asbury Scholarship Fund for Future Public Accounting Leaders to help rising juniors, seniors, and 5th-year students pay for their education costs.

Internships

An internship with McKonly & Asbury will allow you the opportunity to gain experience working alongside our tax and audit teams on client projects. More importantly, it will give you a feel of what it’s like to work at McKonly & Asbury. Internships are paid positions.

If you have completed at least one semester of an intermediate-level accounting class, you can apply for an internship to learn and perform work that is typical of a first-year Associate. An internship with M&A will provide you with:

  • Access to Principals and Partners as mentors to help you learn and grow
  • Firsthand experience at an Associate level with our Tax or Audit department while working on client engagements
  • Software training used specifically in the accounting industry
  • A clear understanding of the meaning behind Helping Others Thrive, through community service, networking events as well as team bonding experiences

Each student will be matched with a current employee buddy who will be a resource and guide throughout the program. Accounting, business, and finance majors are encouraged to apply.
